Rep. Bellino: Monroe County businesses to receive over $500,000 in grant funding

State Rep. Joe Bellino (R-Monroe) today announced that businesses throughout Monroe County will receive grants totaling over $500,000 from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO).

“I’d like to congratulate these dedicated business owners,” said Bellino. “Their ongoing hard work is a testament to their dedication to our community. This grant money is well-deserved, and I wish these businesses the best of luck going forward.”

The grants will be dispersed to the following companies:

  • Gerdau Monroe Mill
  • Fluid Equipment Development Company
  • Link Engineering – Ottawa Lake
  • EOI Pioneer, Inc. – Dundee
  • Backyard Products
  • TTG Automation LLC
  • Premier Industries Corporation
  • MNX Solutions
  • Great Lakes Towers, LLC
  • Vibrant Life Senior Living – Temperance
  • Medilodge of Monroe

The grants came from the ‘Going PRO Talent Fund’ within LEO. The fund awards employers to assist in training, developing and retraining current and newly hired employees.
