Two Oakland County state representatives will meet with local residents to discuss the state’s economy in an upcoming town hall meeting.

Rep. Donni Steele, R-Orion Township, will host the informative town hall with neighboring Rep. Mark Tisdel, R-Rochester Hills, as her special guest. The event will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Oakland University in the Ambassador Rooms at the Oakland Center, located at 312 Meadow Brook Road in Rochester. (The venue has a Rochester address but is on the Auburn Hills side of campus.)

After entering the Oakland Center, walk past the welcome desk towards the end of the Food Court, make a left into the hallway and continue all the way down, making a left at the last hallway on the main level. The Ambassador Rooms will be on the right.

The legislators look forward to hearing directly from people in the community and discussing economic issues with the Oakland County residents they represent.

Steele represents Michigan’s 54th House District, which includes the city of Bloomfield Hills, Orion Township, a portion of the city of Auburn Hills, and portions of Bloomfield Township and Oakland Township.

Tisdel represents Michigan’s 55th House District, which includes the cities of Rochester and Rochester Hills and part of Oakland Township.
